Crystals
Crystal comes from the Greek word Crystollys which means ‘Holy Ice.’ The whole of the mineral kingdom is included so it’s everything from stones and pebbles through to the most precious of diamonds. Crystals each have a specific geometric crystalline structure. Minerals are mostly cryptocrystalline meaning they are made up of thousands of millions of microscopic crystals. Rocks are often made up of several minerals.
Most crystals grow or are formed within the Earth’s surface although some do come from outer space and fall to Earth. Each type of crystal has a unique energy, colour and vibration which is usually governed by how they were formed and what minerals were present at the time. What unites them is that each has a precise crystalline structure and that they can focus, emit, store and change the vibration of energy.
A crystal works by connecting it’s energy with our own, identifying the source of any ‘dis-ease’ within our energy and removing it, then replacing that energy with it’s own. That is how we receive the unique benefits of each crystal. The wonderful thing about working with crystals is that we can see and touch them which adds another element to the healing. We can also simply pick them up and carry them around with us to receive their benefits so it makes healing and crystal support really accessible to us.
Some crystals will make us feel energised and connect us to our vitality. Some will relax and calm us. Some will focus our mind and help us concentrate. We can work with crystals to help our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health as well as enhancing our life. They can make a room feel warm and welcoming, they can protect our energy and the energy of our home, they can help us to feel grounded and connected to the Earth. The only limit to how crystals can help us is our imagination.
